Fold form
A new metal working technique invented in the 1980’s by Charles Lewton-Brain.
It allows the craftsmen to create organic forms and volume filling structures out of simple two dimensional material. It involves folding and forging sheet metal and then unfolding it to create unique effects unachievable by other metal working methods.
The copper pieces are formed from reclaimed water and gas pipe.
Fold formed leaf earrings, hand forged from reclaimed copper and finished with a red heat treatment patina for a beautiful natural appearance.
